Description
Derived from volcanic ash, this is food-grade Sodium Bentonite Clay. Our Bentonite Clay is silica-based and is colloidal in nature, meaning the particles suspend in liquid without breaking down or dissolving, and therefore does not get digested.
Our Bentonite Clay is mined in Wyoming and Montana. Mining practices are designed to keep out impurities. The clay is kiln-dried, milled, and screened to size. Bentonite Clay is often used to clarify beverages such as juices and wine.
